Shelly's Story...
Hi, I'm Shelly and I am a small nine month old Collie mix puppy. I'm sweet, friendly and very loving. I was found as a stray but my owners never came to get me. I only weigh 25 lbs and won't get much bigger, so I will be a nice size. I can't wait to find my forever family. I am good with other dogs and Shauna is my best friend, so I would like if possible another four-legged friend to play with. I am spayed, vaccinated and chipped. Please contact Rebecca at 619-851-1129 or Four Paws Pet Resort at 619-443-4271 to find out how to make me part of your family today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shelly, a El Cajon Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
