Scamp's Story...
*UPDATE: Scamp has found his forever home!!* I just a little 'Scamp' right now but I am gaining weight just like a puppy should. Today I weigh 21 pounds, but I am sure I will be at least 45 pounds by the time I am full grown. I was rescued along with two of my sisters and brother. The people that let my parent breed didn't realized how much work ten puppies could be. So, they asked Four Paws to find us a home. I get along just fine with other dogs and kids and I love grown ups too. I haven't met any cats but as soon as I do I will make sure to get an update on my story. I think I will love to run on the beach and also take long walks in the park or the wood or wherever you want to go. I am current on my vaccines and will be neutered before my adoption is final. If you would like to meet me please call my foster Mom Ally at 619 449 8691.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scamp, a El Cajon Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
