McKenzie's Story...
My name is McKenzie (Kenzie for short) and I am looking for my forever home. I was originally turned in to animal control with my sister as our parents were moving and could not take us along. My sister was adopted but I was left behind. I was rescued by Four Paws and am living with my foster mom who is taking good care of me till my forever home comes along. I have been diagnosed with beginning heart failure, but my condition is being well managed by medications. I am good with other dogs and cats and love to spend time with you at night watching tv on the couch. I am quiet and don't bark but I do wave at you when I get excited at meal time. Please contact Four Paws to come and meet me. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He is good with other dogs, cats, and likes people. He's a sweet and loving dog. Please contact us if you'd like to know more about McKenzie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McKenzie, a El Cajon Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
