Angel's Story...
*UPDATE: Angel has found her forever home! We are so excited for her and her new family. What a happy ending for our lovely little friend.* Meet Angel! This wonderful little dog came to us after her family separated, and they could no longer keep her. She is a perfectly mannered lady, and will make someone a lovely companion and friend. She loves people and will sit to listen in on a conversation. She's very wise. She also gets along with other dogs and is fabulous with kids. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Angel will be at our monthly adoption event on January 4th (Sunday), and that would be your best opportunity to meet her. Stop on by and meet our volunteers and learn more about our adoption process. Information about the event can be found on our main page. Thanks for looking!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a El Cajon Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
