Ginny's Story...
*UPDATE: Ginny has found her forever home!* My name is Ginny and I am a teacup chihuahua. I was found sitting at the shelter with a broken leg. Four Paws rescued me and took me into the vet to have my leg fixed. I am recovering and would love to get out of this bandage as it is bigger than me. I was just spayed, am vaccinated and chipped. I am about 2 yrs old and will be good as new once my leg finishes healing. I love to sit in your lap while you watch tv and my foster mom has spoiled me because she lets me sleep in bed under the covers, my favorite. I would do fine as an only dog or with one other quite mellow dog. I need a home with no kids. If you would like to see how truly cute I am, please contact Rebecca at 619-851-1129.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
