Rowdy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rowdy's Story...
Rowdy is a big boy alright and at 12 months old he could still grow but he doesn’t throw his weight around and even was submissive to us. He is a BIG BABY and a gorgeous dog with a very nice disposition. He carried the raw hide around for most of the evaluation and finally released it when asked. He was very gentle with treats and a great food test. He has a sweetest face with soft gentle eyes. Rowdy was good with the dogs outside and wanted to puppy play with a male dog he met. He is a big cuddle mush and will make a wonderful pet. He walks well on lead but when pulled a little I said “slow” and he immediately sat down. Rowdy is anything but!!

** ROWDY attended his first Adoption day and made a big hit with all of the volunteers with his sweet well-behaved disposition. He is a little shy at first meeting new people. but if you sit down and give him a little time to come to you, this big mush will be sitting in your lap in no time. He bonded quickly with his handlers and stuck by them giving out lots of kisses. He was great with everyone he met.. He will make a great family dog. Plus he is knockout handsome.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rowdy, a Newark American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Newark, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Newark.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newark already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newark breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newark paves the way for another one to be saved.
