Sweet Samantha Sugar Kitty's Story...
Samantha is sweet. How else can you describe a quiet ittle girl whose wide-eyed stare is focused right on you, who longs to be picked up and played with and cuddled and loved?
Her wonderful little face lights up when you enter the room, and she is such a sweet, cuddly cat who wants to be your constant companion.
Would you like to come and meet this darling girl? Would you like to listen to the soft purr and stroke her soon-to-be-sleek fur?
Samantha and her siblings were lucky. Her mom was trapped as a feral cat and brought to Montgomery County Animal Shelter as a nuisance feral cat. While on mandatory hold, Samantha's mom gave birth to her five darling babies. Like any mom, she took great care of them, but she was so very aggressive, shelter staff couldn't care for them as well as they wanted.
Their hearts went out to the brave mom, and they kept the babies as long as possible, hoping for a rescue to come and pull the little family. Happy Cat Adoptions stepped up, and Samantha, mom, and babies are here, and growing like weeds.
