Ethan's Story...
Ethan and his brothers Thomas and Gilbert were born December 5th 2008 so they are babies and they are too small to release. They should be old enough to go to their new home by the end of February. We do not release any of our kittens until after they have been spayed or neutered and we can safely do that once they weigh two pounds....this usually happens between 9-11 weeks of age. Ethan and his brothers are very outgoing and very sweet. Their adoption fee is $85 each or two for $150. The adoption fee includes their neuter, they will be current on age appropriate vaccinations and flea and worm treatments. You will also receive a free well exam at one of our participating Veterinarians. You can visit Ethan and his brothers at our adoption center at Mariposa Veterinary Center this Saturday from Noon-5. We are accepting applications so now is the time to get pre-approved. Mariposa Veterinary Center is located at 13900 Sante Fe Trail Drive in Lenexa. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ethan, a Lenexa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lenexa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lenexa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lenexa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lenexa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lenexa paves the way for another one to be saved.
