Shelly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Shelly's Story...
Shelly was a VERY young mother and came to us with two little kittens. She had a hard time with motherhood since she was so young. A lot of people don't realize that kittens can have kittens when they are only 6 months old. Shelly has now been spayed and is looking forward to a long happy life with a family of her own. We guess that she was born around July 2008. She is very sweet and loves attention. She is definately a lap cat. She is still very playful. She would do well with children and would be a great family cat. We do not know how she will do with other cats or dogs but would probably do fine if introduced slowly. Shelly's adoption fee is $65 and you can visit her at her foster home or at Mariposa Clinic on Saturdays. For an application e-mail kittycityks@aol.com or call 913-422-1911

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shelly, a Lenexa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lenexa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lenexa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lenexa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lenexa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lenexa paves the way for another one to be saved.
