My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jodie, 4 y/o, Female, Weimaraner. Jodie was found as a stray and taken to the shelter. The
shelter staff thought Jodie had problems walking and had sustained an injury. None the less,
the staff at the shelter loved her and called rescue to help. We now believe that Jodie has
“Hoppers” – a disorder that is sometimes found in Weimaraners, in which they walk well, but
hop with both back legs together when moving faster. Please watch her short video to see her
cute little hop. If Jodie has Hoppers, there is no particular treatment and she will likely get
around just fine and live a normal life. We will be getting Jodie in for routine vet care and to
confirm her diagnosis. Jodie has proven to be a very sweet girl in her temporary foster home,
fitting right in with the pack. She appears to be house trained and does well on leash. Jodie has
gotten along well with all the dogs she has met and loves meeting new people – greeting each
person with a friendly tail wag! We do not know if Jodie has any experience with small
children, so a home with older kids that are dog savvy is desirable. We also do not know if Jodie
gets along with cats, so a home without kitties is also a good idea. She will certainly benefit
from lots of love! Jodie is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed soon. In Patterson. If you are
