Meet Cheeky! DOB: May 2011

Cheeky has survived a very difficult life out on the streets, but she was lucky she had a “Cat Angel” that cared for her (food/ shelter & medical attention when needed) most of her life. Sadly her “Cat Angel” passed away. When NTCR became aware, out went the volunteers and quickly rounded her up and others, just before the very harsh winter of 2013. Cheeky was taken to the vet and received medically attention for the usual issues a cat faces when living on the streets. She was absolutely terrified, feisty and did not trust people at all. Thanks to the persistence of NTCR volunteers, Cheeky has started to learn to trust people! A beautiful shy-girl with a gentle, timid nature, her is ideal home would be a mature adult home that is quiet and calm. Cheeky will need special owner who is patient, understanding and loving to help her develop her trust levels and confidence. If you want to be that special person to give Cheeky the ”furever” home she has never know and truly deserves, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
