Rambo's Story...
Welcome RAMBO, a 1 1/2 year old brindle Mastiff to For Our Friends! This gorgeous teddy bear of a dog is in need of a good home because his family has to move and cannot take him.
RAMBO is wonderful with kids, even very little ones, which he has lived with all his life. He is also fantastic with other dogs! In fact, we think he would love to have a dog buddy in his new forever home. He plays well with big and even little dogs.
RAMBO weighs about 95lbs and that is 95lbs of pure sweetness and tenderness so typical of the Mastiff breed! He has the most soulful eyes and leans into you so sweetly, and totally melts your heart. He is UTD on his vaccinations, completely housebroken, well-mannered, and he will be neutered this week. So get in touch with us ASAP to meet RAMBO! Seriously, if you like the Mastiff breed, you will ADORE this young boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rambo, a Oakland Gardens Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Oakland Gardens, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in Oakland Gardens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland Gardens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland Gardens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland Gardens paves the way for another one to be saved.
