Simba's Story...
Simba is a mellow cat whose independence is rivaled only by his good looks. Sure to be a low-maintenance pet, Simba would love a home where he could roam to his heart's content, indoors and out. Once attached to his human, Simba is very affectionate, even going so far as to follow his owner everywhere... as long as it's on his own terms! This handsome boy does fine with people of all shapes and sizes, but isn't the biggest fan of other animals. Despite the fact that he's de-clawed on his front paws, Simba has been known to pick fights with dogs much bigger than him! Talk about brave! If you're looking for a pet who's fearless and free spirited, Simba has all the right stuff.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Larned Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Larned, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Larned.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Larned already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Larned breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Larned paves the way for another one to be saved.
