My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Goose. My foster parents like to call me silly goose because of all the funny things I do around the house. Before Henrico Humane Society found me, I had a litter of kittens, and my owners didn’t want us anymore, so they abandoned us. It was pretty rough trying to care for little ones, find food and protect everyone from a very loud and aggressive neighborhood dog. After HHS took us in, I was so happy I could have cried tears of joy. There was food every day and nothing scary was ever lurking just around the corner. My kittens have been adopted to wonderful forever homes, so now it’s my turn to look.

I absolutely love to be petted; I run to the door each time my foster parents get home, anxious to see them. I never really had toys before HHS, so it took me a while to figure them out, but oh do I love my mouse toy! I'm happy playing with my foster parents but also happy just playing on my own! I make my foster parents laugh at how excited I get.

I would prefer a home without loud, aggressive animals, just because of my past. I am very well behaved though and love to be around people. I hope to find a forever home very soon!
