Buddy's Story...
Buddy is an 8 year old pure beagle. He weighs between 15-20 pounds. He is a gentle, lovable, sweetheart, not your normal beagle. He loves to cuddle and stay warm. He does love to go for walks in the spring/summer time and loves camping. He is shy at first but warms up quickly. He loves to run in open fields and play catch.. He sometimes howls out of nowhere but you get used to it. He doesn't bark at all just howls and only when he is frightened. He is crate trained and loves kids. Not fond of cats and he does well with other dogs but not sure how he would be living with other dogs. Probably best for someone with no other animals and with lots of time to love and care for him. He is a great companion and is loyal to the end.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Acushnet Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Acushnet, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Acushnet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acushnet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acushnet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acushnet paves the way for another one to be saved.
