DOB: 2/1/15
Admitted to ELPO: 2/1/13

Boomer is just over two years old and is the resident heartthrob. Wherever he goes, he invites human attention and he loves it! He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment so he can’t play with the other orphans. So far, he doesn’t seem to like other dogs but it’s possible his behavior will improve once he is back in good health. If not, then Boomer will need to be an only dog – perfect for someone who wants to give their undivided affection to a handsome pup!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boomer, a Dallas Rottweiler/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Husky for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Rottweiler/Husky dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Husky breeders who help with Rottweiler/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
