Penny's Story...
If you like kisses then keep reading this bio!! This is Penny. She is a very unique adult cat. She has a short tail and short legs and she can't pass a human by without stopping to give them kisses. Penny is about 3 years old. Of course, that is just our guess as she will never tell us her true age! She does great with dogs, cats and older children although she would thrive being an only cat. Penny loves to lay up high and look down on her kingdom! She is very laid back and is content laying around all day. If you are looking for a kissing, laid back feline then Penny is your girl!! Penny is being fostered in Hazel Green, AL. To meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete our cat application at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
