Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Will Be Available AFTER March 4th* Accepting All Applications Now.
D.O.B. 12/7/14
Amy is one of 9 puppies that arrived from southern Ohio. They were born and lived outside on private property. Mom looked like a black spaniel / lab mix and dad is unknown. The local dogs, however, are lab/dachshund mixes. And these babies also have the short legs representing the dachshund.
The guesstimated adult weight is between 30-55 lbs. This entire litter is very healthy, playful, mostly quiet, and very loving. They did arrive unsocialized and unfamiliar with being held but are now being very well-socialized with people and dogs. They were also extremely full of worms and have been dewormed twice already.
As of 2/18/15- Amy weighs about 9lbs and growing.
Puppies are working on house-training (doing very well despite the snow) and crate-training (though they all sleep together).
Serious inquiries only! Families must be ready and able to take care of a young puppy who cannot hold his/her bladder for an entire work day! The rule is (age/mo + 1 hour). So at 2 months old, a puppy can only hold their bladder for 3 hours.
*Home Visit is Required*Along with Reference Checks - including Vet Reference*
*Puppies will be Spayed/Neutered, Vaccinated, Dewormed before adoption*
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/Adopt.html
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org
And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
