Sweet Maybell is an older gal who walked into a fire hall on a blistering cold day, so starved that she started eating from a grease trap. The kind firefighters wrapped her up and reached out to us for help.
Maybell is good with other dogs and wants a retirement home where she will continue to get meals on a schedule and have a soft place to lay her head, with a kind hand to pat her head while she drifts off to sleep.
Maybell is part of our Training for Forever program. We require all adopters to complete a basic training course with their new family member. If adopted in the Murfreesboro area, her training can be completed through Wag It Better and the cost is covered by her adoption fee.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
