Harley's Story...
Hi there my name is Rocky! I am charming male Miniature Pinscher born in 2009. I weigh around 15 pounds.

I’ve got to say, it’s kind of ironic I’m named after someone famous for fighting because I am just about the sweetest sweetheart there is! I am a loving gentleman that has no problem melting hearts everywhere I go. I absolutely adore humans and being showered with love! I’m also quite fond of my doggy pals as well! What can I say? I’m a very loving pooch!

I think the coolest thing about me is my optimistic outlook on life. I do have one ‘special need’ but I certainly don’t let it define me! I am diabetic. I know that may sound scary, but it’s really not! I only require insulin twice a day and a special diet. Once you see how cool and charismatic I am, you’ll realize the diabetes is no sweat and the extra medical attention is 100% worth it!

I have a very adventurous spirit! I’m naturally very curious and inquisitive. I love to explore and take in my surroundings. It’s super adorable to watch me sniff around and take everything in! It’s even cuter when I stand up on my tip tippy toes to smell all the cool smells up above!

I would absolutely love to find my forever home! Do you think you might be my person?! Ask to meet me and we can find out! I’m also available for foster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Denver Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Denver, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
