Ricardo's Story...
Hola!! Please to meet you my name is Ricardo. If you are looking for a handsome but unique looking pup, I'm the one for you. I am a Mexican hairless and Chihuahua mix born in 2006. Look at my handsome grin and hairless gray spots!! Yes, we Mexican hairless pups have unique smiles since we are sometimes born with missing teeth. That doesn't prevent me from having a good meal!!

I am great at walking on the leash (am not a fan of having a harness put on) and can keep up with the best of my kind, your kind and every kind! I am very friendly with large and small dogs, cats and people. I am a happy pup that is easy going and goes with the flow. I do not like to be kenneled for long periods of time.

If you enjoy long walks, car rides and being greeted with a wagging tail, please come meet me at Maxfund. I'm available for either adoption or fostering. The MaxFund office can tell you more about the foster program.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricardo, a Denver Mexican Hairless dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mexican Hairless for sale in Denver, or seeking a Mexican Hairless dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mexican Hairless breeders who help with Mexican Hairless rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
