My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Happy afternoon folks. Say a great big hello to Daisy, a 8 month old poodle mix. Daisy came to us after a great gal found her wandering. Poor little girl. She is healthy and happy thankfully.

Daisy is a sweet and relatively shy little girl. A baby really. She warms up quickly and then she is all over you for kisses and playtime. We don't think she will ever be the life of the party and we are kind of hard-pressed to imagine her engaging in bad puppy antics. She's just so good. We suppose once she gets totally comfortable she might be willing to consider stealing a sock, but right now, she's acting like a debutante at her coming-out ball. Shy, nervous and quiet.

Daisy will probably top out in the small 10-15 pound range and she is a moderate energy puppy. She does enjoy playing and romping, as most puppies do. She is not the type to lead anyone down dark paths of bad puppy behavior, but with another dog to lead the way, she's so polite she would probably go along with it, so as not to be rude. Daisy is good with dogs, cats and people regardless of age.

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
