Dudley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Dudley's Story...
Dudley is our resident little fox :) He is 6 months old and 22 pounds. Our best guess is that Dudley is a sheltie mix. He came to us from Fulton AC, where he was seized in a neglect case. Dudley was tied to a front porch, was scared of people and even other dogs. Now Dudley is a love bug. He does take a little while to warm up to men, but quickly becomes your best friend once he gets a little lap time with you.

Dudley is crate trained and doing extremely well on his house training. He will need a home where someone can let him out during the day - he isn't old enough yet to be left alone all day. Little dogs or big, he loves them all and would like to have a play friend. Older children are ok, no one under 13 please.

The $250 adoption fee includes full vetting, the DHPP, Rabies, Bordatella, Canine Flu vaccines, spay/neuter and microchipping.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dudley, a Dacula Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Dacula, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Dacula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dacula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dacula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dacula paves the way for another one to be saved.
