My story

Please welcome Orson.  He is a 4 1/2 year old German Shepherd dog.  Orson is neutered, micro chipped and heartworm negative.  He is also crate trained and house trained.  Orson is Lyme positive and has been treated.

Orson is a beautiful black and tan boy who knows his basic commands.  He is a little cautious with people he does not know, but warms up quickly.  You just need to go slow when meeting him.

He will take a treat from your hand very gently, but is a little protective with his food dish.  Orson was very, very thin when he came to us, which tells us he may not have been fed on a regular basis.

Orson plays nicely with female dogs and is very respectful of the older ones.  We have not put him with males as of yet.   We don't know about cats.

Orson woukd make a nice companion and playmate for the right family.
