Cordova's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting this kitty, please go to Click Here and fill out an application.

Cordova is a little beauty queen and like many queens she has a bit of an attitude. She knows what she likes and what she dislikes and if you do not accept her boundaries she tends to nip or occasionally to scratch although this has gone to almost zero as she has settled into her foster home. This cat needs a patient owner that knows a bit about “cat language” and who finds it rewarding gaining her trust day by day. The more she trusts you the more she shows you her affection. Nevertheless due to her special character a home without any kids would be best.

Cordova likes to sleep on your lap, in front of the radiator or in her bed. She plays a lot with her toy mice and she is especially interested in all flying objects. When she is hungry she goes and sits next to her bowl and lets you know it is eating time. Cordova likes to discover everything inside the apartment and loves to sit on the window sill to see what is going on outside. She is also excellent with the litter box. This kitty is looking for a loving and patient home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cordova, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
