Meet Perry! He's a 7 lb, 3-year-old, male, brindle Chihuahua. This sweet boy is a little timid at first when meeting new people, but within a few minutes he’ll just flop onto his back for a belly rub. Next to belly rubs, Perry's favorite thing is to curl up into a little ball in a lap or next to his foster brother and sister for a nap. He can nap through anything! If you get up off the couch, he will just roll right into the crevice that you left and keep on napping. Other dogs can walk over him, the doorbell can ring, the fire alarm can go off, and he will just keep on napping. (He will wake up if he hears the rustle of a bag of treats opening though! ) When he’s not napping or getting belly rubs, Perry loves to follow his foster mom from room to room like a little shadow. He bonds deeply with his person and will make a loyal companion. Perry gets along with all dogs, large and small and loves meeting them on his walks. He does not have an aggressive bone in his tiny little body. He loves walks and gets so happy when he sees his harness that he squeals in excitement and spins in a circles! He’s mostly housebroken (he does mark once or twice in new surroundings), and seems eager to learn pad training.
If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable, laid-back, low maintenance, little Chihuahua, Perry is your dog!
