Hello my name is Snow White. I am looking for my perfect family. Let me tell you a little about myself.
My name is Snow White (aka Snowy). I think I am just over a year old and I appear to be a Foxhound/Jack Russell mix of cuteness. I am looking for my forever home. I would prefer a home with another playmate, but if I happen to be the only dog in the house, that is fine too. I just really want someone who will play fetch with me and maybe wrestle every now and again. I have met cats before and they seem to be fine by me. My foster mom thinks I will be a great running companion one day, but it has been too cold to test that out yet.
Unlike many hounds, I don't let my nose get me lost. I am very attached to my people and prefer to be around them at all times. Another stereotype buster: I am not an obnoxious barker. I only bark when I am playing or when I need to go outside. Did I tell you I am potty-trained?? I am...though it does help if you remind me to go outside because I can get distracted. I am also crate-trained and know basic commands (sit, down, off and leave it). I am one of the smartest dogs I know and I know I am capable of so much more! I have been working really hard on not being so "mouthy," and my foster mom said I have been improving a lot over the last couple of weeks.
Do you have kids? Because I love kids!! My foster sister is 8 years old and I LOVE when her friends come over to play! If you have small kids, you may need to watch me around them, because sometimes I get so excited I could knock them down, but I don't hurt them on purpose.
I really am a great dog! I am not overly-hyper, and if you give me toys to play with I am pretty content...especially if you hide treats in them. I love to snuggle at night time too and sleep through the whole night. Am I a match for you?? Will you promise to give me lots of love and keep me active? If so, I promise to love you forever!
Snow White adoption donation is $250 and includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, Avid microchip & deworming. Snow White is being fostered in St Louis Missouri but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $140. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125.
