Tucker's Story...
Meet Tucker! He is a 6 month old Papillon / Retriever mix. He is a shorter fluffy guy that loves cuddling on your lap and loves to sit upright with his pot belly hanging out :-) He was found by a good Samaritan on the side of the road in traffic. After being unable to find his owners for several weeks, we would love to help Tucker find his forever home. He is potty trained and does very well with other dogs. Tucker LOVES car rides and is the easiest passenger. He's all fluff as you can see from his bath time photo. To adopt Tucker please submit an adoption application today! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Huntersville Papillon/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntersville, or seeking a Papillon/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Huntersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Papillon/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
