Ever wanted a horse/dog mix? Meet Buckley, the best of both worlds!
Poor Buckley found himself (and his long legs) at a local shelter when his owners were evicted from their home. Thankfully a few of our volunteers fell in love and wanted to ride him, errr....give him a ride, right on up to Dog Town!
He is a young buck, at just 1-2 years old and energetic, goofy, but yet still well behaved. His ears are not as well behaved and have a tendency to go every which way, including sitting directly on top of his head at rest, but they are so cute they just add to his charm.
Buckley is enjoying playing at Dog Town, but is on the hunt for a warm bed and family of this own. He gets along well with other dogs and would do best with a friend who could put up with his dog rough and tumble play.
Buckley knows some basic commands, seems to be house trained, is an all around really good boy and would be a great family dog.
