Olive came to Dogworks in February 2015 from a rural Ohio shelter. They thought she might be pregnant, but it turned out to be a false alarm. She has been examined by a vet, spayed, and vaccinated. They called her a terrier mix; we think she looks like a shepherd. Olive weighs 52 lbs. and is about 8 months old. She seems to think she is a little lap dog. She has quickly bonded with her foster mom and settled into a life of comfort. Her foster mom says, "She likes to do exactly whatever you are doing--so if you go and sit on the couch, she will be right there next to you. If asked to stay off the couch, she almost looks offended that you get to be on the couch and not her!" Olive loves playing tug-of-war, squeaky stuffed animals, and chewing on a bone at bedtime. She is house trained and crated overnight. She knows how to "sit" and "lay down" and is working on "come." Her foster family is also working on building confidence with children and stairs. Olive gets along well with other dogs; cats are unknown. Adoption fee is $165. For adoption application and more information, please visit www.dogworksohio.com.
