Facts about Crash

  • Breed: Border Collie
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 2840846
Crash is a very handsome Border Collie who is definitely one-of-a-kind. He is a gentle, laid back dog who can deal with just about anything you throw at him. He is as comfortable curled up on the couch as he is walking around downtown Fort Worth during the Main Street Arts festival with the crowd pressing in on all sides. Crash is great with other dogs, big or small, and he has fun running around the backyard with his foster sisters, but is just as happy to take a nap in his crate.

Most importantly, Crash is an ideal family dog. The only exceptions being are that Crash should not be in a home with cats or very young children. He is laid-back enough to let kids swing from his neck, however, and frisky enough to play "WWF". Crash is ready to calm down and get belly rubs as soon as the game is over.

Crash is extremely intuitive and will welcome anyone into your home that you welcome. He is, however, very protective of his home and family. Pushing 80 pounds and completely fearless, he won't hesitate to protect a member of his family.

Crash is fully vetted. His DOB is 4/23/2004.

Bottom line on Crash: he is one terrific dog with great personality who LOVES [older] children and who would make an excellent companion and protector for anyone – single, or married.

About Hillcrest Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Hillcrest Animal Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to saving as many homeless, neglected and abused animals as our resources allow. All of our rescues are placed in loving foster homes and receive thorough medical care. Each companion animal is heartworm tested and treated if positive; placed on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention; altered and micro chipped. Every animal receives a full complement of vaccines depending on risk and immune status. Chronic pain is not acceptable with animals in our care. We will take whatever measures are necessary to ensure that all of our animals are living free of pain and disease. To summarize our belief in veterinary care, any animal at Hillcrest Rescue receives the same level of veterinary care as if she or he were the only animal we have.
