Kitty Junction is absolutely thrilled to say that Olaf and Raja have found their new loving family together!!! Thank you so much Mary for coming to meet these two sweethearts at our cathouse in the Doylestown Pet Valu and for falling in love with them!! In addition to new mommy Mary, Olaf and Raja are being adored by new daddy Jamie, new sister Michaela and new brother Jamie Jr:) The family has renamed them Merry and Pippin from some of their favorite charachters in Lord of the Rings and say that they are the perfect addition to their family!! Merry & Pippin love looking out their window chirping and chattering at the animals outside and when not running and playing, can often be found curled up together taking a nap!
Hi! Our names are Olaf and Raja and we are female sister kittens approximately 6 months of age. Our mom was a family pet that escaped her home before they had a chance to get her spayed. She returned pregnant with us. We were born in the family home with a 5 year old child who loved to cuddle us and then at 9 weeks of age we were adopted by a family with two children, a 5 year old & a 16 year old who named us after their favorite Disney characters. Sadly unbeknownst to our new family, their 5 year old daughter was severely allergic to us and the allergy medication being provided by the family doctor is not helping her enough for them to be able to keep us:(
This is what our current family says about us:
Olaf & Raja are loveable and friendly. Great with kids doesn't even describe how wonderful they are with our youngest. They have never bit or scratched her out of anger or fear. Our daughter likes to think they are living stuffed animals so she is constantly picking them up (despite her allergic reaction to them!). Olaf even lets her give hugs by putting her paws up on her shoulders while she cuddles them. Raja doesn't really liked to be picked up but loves attention.
Olaf is the more cuddly of the two cats. The minute you sit down, she will join you on your lap. She's a loud purrer and likes to make herself known. She can frequently be found high up on a shelf supervising or keeping warm on the cable box! She has been known to play catch with her toy mouse and loves anything with a string (think those toys with strings attached to a pole).
Raja is our silly cat. She loves feet and enjoys petting herself with your feet when you take your shoes off. She also thinks wiggling toes are toys but never scratches or bites them, just bats at them. She also enjoys the string/feather toys but usually let's her sister have the first turn to play with them. She loves watching TV (video games in particular) and will try to attack the characters on the TV.
These kittens have been together since birth & it shows. They sleep together on the couch and play together. It's rare to find one without the other because as soon as one is up, the other is up too! They chase each other around the house and play hard! I can't imagine them not being together :-(
Our family loves us and desperately would like to find us a new loving home together as it would break their hearts to have to bring us to a scary shelter not knowing what would happen to us.
