Tulip's Story...
If you are interested in meeting Tulip please email our adoption manager ( Tulip is very nervous up at our adoption location at Petsense, so she does not show off her best side. If you are interested in this sweet girl LOA can arrange for you to meet her in her foster home.

Tulip and her siblings were brought to LOA as bottle babies when their mother was hit and killed by a car, leaving one baby in the road and 4 more inside the storm drain.
She was adopted into a home with two small dogs, but they could not get along and she was forced to live for a year only on the second floor of her house. She was then returned to us. We were sad to hear of her situation but happy to have her back with us.
Tulip prefers to live the single life, with someone to give her lots of attention, snuggles and play time, especially with a simple string pulled around the house. She would probably do okay with older children, she supervises the playing of video games in her foster home. She loves to cuddle with her foster mom when sitting with her on the couch.
Do you have a quiet home that is missing a graceful, beautiful cat? Tulip may be your girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tulip, a Keller Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Keller, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Keller.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Keller already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Keller breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Keller paves the way for another one to be saved.
