My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clementine is a Chihuahua/Pappillon mix about 3 years old. She weighs about 8-10 lbs and was found running the streets in the Hollywood area, filthy, with no tags or identifying information. She is a little shy and tentative right now but she is so new to Rescue we expect her to come out of her shell in the days and weeks to come. She is fearful with strangers but not aggressive and she gets scared at loud noises. Clementine has a mellow, gentle and low energy. She loves her crate and will sleep in it through the night! She appears to be untrained in terms of basic commands and may be a little too apprehensive about things to learn much now but we expect her to settle down. She has a thing about doorways and will hesitate before crossing a threshold as if she is not quite sure she should. Clementine gets along just fine with the other two female dogs in the home and will follow them around. She seems mainly housetrained although she did have one or two accidents in her foster home which is to be expected. She is a cuddle bug and loves to be held and likes a good cuddle. As she is still a little scared, we do not recommend her for a home with young kids right now.
