Mossy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mossy's Story...
Mossy is a very timid girl. She is fearful when you approach her crate but if allowed to walk out on her own will quickly warm up and LOVES to go for walks. She is very treat motivated and like attention. She is very skittish with men. We think a man was very mean to her. She would prefer a man-free home but if he was VERY patient and gentle she might love him like she does the women that care for her. She is about 50 pounds and likes other dogs. Adoption fee is $100

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mossy, a Yukon German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Yukon, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Yukon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yukon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yukon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yukon paves the way for another one to be saved.
