My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Fiddler
DOB: ~ 9/1/13
Breed/Color: Domestic Medium Hair/ Turkish Van mix
Color: Black & White

Meet Fiddler! This poor boy was forced out a window onto the roof and his owner refused to let him back in. It was freezing cold out and concerned citizens pleaded with the man, but he refused to let the cat back in. After 5 days on the roof in the freezing cold an amazing couple were able get him down to safety. He had frostbite on his ears, nose, and paw pads. His physical wounds have all healed and he is doing great, but emotionally he is still a little damaged. Fiddler needs a special adopter...a patient, quiet, and understanding home.

Fiddler is gaining confidence every day. He loves being brushed, hanging out near his people, and playing with wand toys. He loves being pet, but can get overwhelmed with too much affection or quick movement. Even when overwhelmed he is gentle and has never hurt anyone. He still hisses sometimes when someone enters his room, but then he quickly comes over to seek out affection. A home without children or dogs would be best. Who wants to teach this boy how wonderful people can be?
