Genie is the sweetest, calmest, gentlest two-year-old hound mix you will ever meet. Genie loves people, other dogs, cats and kids! She really enjoys being a companion, and thinks it is her job as your dog to be loyal and always at your side. Her need for companionship can also get her into trouble. She has scaled walls and fences to get to her humans when she is left alone. Genie also likes to exercise her hound vocal chords if left alone too long. So if you are looking for a full-time buddy, then Genie is your girl! The adoption fee is $200 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, a free wellness visit with our vet, and 30 days of free pet health insurance. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd) in Phoenix. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays, 11:00 am – 2:30 pm, and a low cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information.
