Sparrow's Story...
Hi I'm Sparrow. I'm a 1 1/2 year old Siberian Husky. I was stuck in the shelter and thankfully ALIVE Rescue Memphis saw me and scooped me up. They have two close friends that understand my breed and knew that me being in a shelter environment would be horrible for my future. Now I'm out, and waiting to find my forever home.
I love playing outside and get along well with other dogs. I also love people as long as they play fetch with me. I'm ready to start to new chapter of my life and couldn't be happier to be a part of the ALIVE Rescue Memphis family.
If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out the adoption application at
http://www.aliverescuememphis.org/RP_Application.asp

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparrow, a Memphis Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
