Grizzly's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Grizzly's Story...
Grizzly is a very well mannered 5-year-old, Lab/ Chesapeake / Dane mix. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

He came back to us through no fault of his own when his owner could no longer take care of him.

Grizzly is a loving gentle big boy, 115 lbs. and 26 1/2 inches at the shoulder. He is good with kids and other dogs, but NO cats. He is afraid of thunderstorms and needs reassurance and extra cuddling. He walks nice on and off leash. He would love a family that loves the outdoors as much as he does.

Grizzly loves to hug and shake. There is plenty to go around for everyone! This big guy loves attention and will be a great companion.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grizzly, a Rochester Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
