Siberian Husky Dog for adoption in Cedar Crest, New Mexico - Tuktu

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Tuktu's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tuktu's Story...
Tuktu is a 4 year old male husky. He weighs 48 pounds and does well with most other dogs. As a young pup, he was pushed by another dog into a cactus bush and was impaled with a cactus needle in the sinus. The injury is fully healed but left him with a mild runny eye. It is not noticeable, but he may need to have his eyes dried more often than other dogs. Tuktu walks well on leash and knows some basic commands. He would do best with a dog companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuktu, a Cedar Crest Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Cedar Crest, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Cedar Crest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Crest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Crest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Crest paves the way for another one to be saved.
