Elliot's Story...
Elliot is 10 months old and is just finding out that food and safety actually exist. This little guy was being sold on a local website where it read, "8 month old blue nose pit bull. Gotta get rid of him today - what will you give me?" His photo showed him at the end of a chain, head down and shying away from the person taking the photo. When we got him, he was emaciated and scared. He walked cautiously in the big yard, waiting for the chain to jerk him back. When he realized he was not chained, he made a jump with paws in the air full of joy to not be held back. For the past 2 months, Elliot has received 2 meals a day and has put on some weight. He is beginning to look healthy. He likes the comfort of his kennel run and stays close to it. He is a nice boy and is looking for a kind, gentle owner that will show him the sweet side of life.

The adoption fee for Elliot is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elliot, a Cedar Crest Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Cedar Crest, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cedar Crest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Crest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Crest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Crest paves the way for another one to be saved.
