Speedy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Speedy's Story...
Speedy get's his name because if you open a door, he's through it. He's very curious and loves to explore. He's also very active and high energy, he loves to play with toys and play chase with other cats. He's affectionate and will playfully bat your face with his paws but knows to do it gently. He is not a "lap cat" but will suddenly stop, run and jump into your lap for some affection. After a few minutes though, he's off to the races again! Speedy's full name is Speedracer.

Speedy only has one eye. His right eye works fine. Speedy was born with a virus transferred from his mother which caused an early eye infection and his left eye never developed. He had an operation at the same time he was neutered to clean out and close the eye, and trust me when I say he gets along quite fine with only one eye. He has never known anything else and he has no problems with climbing, jumping, running or depth perception. He's perfectly healthy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Speedy, a Seneca Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Seneca, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Seneca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seneca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seneca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seneca paves the way for another one to be saved.
