Lulu - Meet her!'s Story...
This beautiful girl looks like an Irish Wolfhound mix. She is approx 18 months old and 43 lbs. She is a little shy and timid and very submissive. She will roll over on her back for petting and the same when you go to put a leash on her. She is quite active and loves to run and play. She has a very sweet personality and gets along with all of the other dogs. She is quite well house trained, but not perfect. She will need some yard space to run.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu - Meet her!, a Woonsocket Irish Wolfhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Wolfhound for sale in Woonsocket, or seeking a Irish Wolfhound dog from a breeder in Woonsocket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woonsocket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woonsocket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woonsocket paves the way for another one to be saved.
