Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Caesar and I am an 18-month-old American Bulldog, Staffordshire Terrier mix hoping for a family willing to take me into their hearts and home and help me demonstrate how gentle and loving I can be. I’ll admit that when I first came to live at the shelter, my zest for life was a bit over the top. But I’ve shown that with gentle, consistent discipline — along with lots of hugs and kisses — I can control my playfulness. I’m a lover at heart, though, and still like to shower my people with slobbery kisses, which probably means I would make a lousy guard dog. I walk very well on a leash, and I rarely bark at my kennel mates unless they bark at me first. Hmm, maybe I should be the only dog in the house??? Because I am young and a quick learner, with continued training and socialization I think I can adapt to the rules of my forever home. In fact, the volunteers who come to walk and play with me are training me to respond to basic commands so that when you adopt me I can quickly become your loyal, devoted canine companion.
