My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I've had a crazy couple weeks. I was hanging out with a bunch of greyhounds in the exercise pen at TGP and all of a sudden another greyhound jumped me. Then some other greyhounds joined in. I got beat up pretty badly and I have no idea why. I was just minding my own business. My injuries hurt a lot and I was so terrified by the ordeal I refused to move or get up. I didn't mean to scare the SA GREY people, I just couldn't make myself move. The day after surgery I felt well enough to stand. Everyone came to my dog run at the vet clinic and stared at me like it was some type of miracle. Sheesh. (They took this picture to show everyone I was standing. I was just a little whacked out on drugs when they took it. I'm MUCH cuter in person.)

The doctors at Twin Peaks did a great job putting me back together. They joked that they would need a metal detector to find all of the staples when it came time to take them out. Not nice! Then the lady who picked me up started calling me "Frankenweenie." Also, not nice! My pet name was supposed to be Rogue, which sounds nice and tough.

Thankfully, another lady took me to her house to live with her and her very nice greyhounds. I really, really like them. I love to get soft pets and walk around the yard with NICE greyhounds. Apparently, "Frank" stuck as my new pet name. Now that the nice lady has explained the staple and Frankenweenie jokes, I feel better about them.

I'll have no puppies surgery on March 20 and will then be ready to move into my forever home. I hope it's as nice as my foster home! I am receiving visitors....

Frank is 2 1/2 years old. His small dog and cat status is unknown. He will be available soon.

Injured Greyhounds like Rogue are helped with Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption's "JACKIE's FUND". For information go to: http://www.sagreyhoundadoption.org/donations/jackie-s-fund
