About Scarlett:

* about 4 months old
* working on potty training
* working on crate training
* adoption fee-$250

History: Scarlett came from an overcrowded shelter in California with her sisters, brother and mom

Health: Scarlett has been dewormed, flea treated, up to date on dhpp, rabies and bordatella vaccines, spayed and microchipped

Notes from Scarlett's foster family: Scarlett is a little shy at going up to new people at first, but once she warms up she is a love. She likes to snuggle and play with other dogs. Don't let her size fool you! If another dog needs to be put in their place, Scarlett will let them know. She is a little peanut with a lot of personality!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlett, a Covington Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Covington, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
