"Bowie"'s Story...
Meet "Bowie" He is a fun loving 2 year old, 12 pound, neutered, wire hair terrier mix. looking for his forever home. Bowie is fully vaccinated micro-chipped, 11 pounds and super cute! Bowie has a stunning blue eye,and one beautiful brown eye. He gets along great with his foster friends (big & small) and enjoys a good game of chase. He is moderately active and loves to snuggle on the couch. Bowie is crate trained but would prefer to sleep with his person. Bowie gets along well with big dogs and loves to play. He is active but winds down when it's time for calm time. He loves to cuddle and be a part of the family. Bowie loves everyone, men, women and children. Bowie is low shedding, and his grooming needs are low maintenance. A 6-8 week routine trip to the groomer for a trim is about all he needs. Bowie would like a loving home that will spend time playing with him and take him daily walks. A steady daily routine is what helps acclimate dogs into their new homes. A basic obedience class is suggested to create a bond between the new adopter and Bowie. Bowie is currently home fostered in the Seattle area (West Seattle) Adoption fee: 575.00 includes: neuter, microchip, pet insurance, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, and bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. The fee also supports costs for various necessary vet care of other dogs in the rescue, including special surgeries, quality grain free food, general supplies, grooming, boarding, health certificate and transport cost from California to Seattle. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer. All dogs are home fostered in the Seattle area by volunteers.
6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we "save it forward" so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. A online application can be submitted at www.6dogrees.com this is required prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. A home check and references are required prior to adoption approval.
