Jelly's Story...
Young Jelly is an incredibly smart 1 1/2 yr old German Shepard boy. Wise beyond his years, Jelly observes everything around him and learns quickly from his human and canine friends alike. He loves to pal around with other pups including his good buddy Peanut (pictured with him and also up for adoption). He is crate-trained, house-trained, microchipped and neutered. Jelly would love a fenced in yard to play the day away as all young pups should. His current foster has this to say about him: "Jelly is the sweetest little guy - whoever ends up with him is going to fall in love immediately." Will that lucky person be you??

We do vet check and home visits on our adopters. Adoption fee is $375 and all dogs are neutered/spayed and up to date on shots. Please contact us if you would like to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jelly, a West Hartford German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
