Tobias is your standard definition of a gentle giant. He is a very large tuxedo cat, and as time passes he is getting a very lovely coat. Tobias loves to be around people and is very vocal when you walk into the room. He will chat with you until you pet him or sit down, so he can curl up in your lap. Once he's in your lap he can just snooze for hours if you let him.

While Tobias loves to be around people, he also enjoys the company of other cats and seems to be slowly warming up to the dog. Tobias loves to play with string toys and will chase them around a room until he catches it, and then it's game over and all he wants to do is parade the toy around the room. But not to worry once he drops it he loves to.give chase to it once again.

When Tobias has no company around, he likes to sit in the window and check out the neighborhood. Oh, and he's a bit of an amateur explorer and likes to get into closets if he can. He's a chill guy with lots if love to give and is just waiting for you to come visit him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tobias, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
