I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Praline's Story...
Combine 7 pounds of wrinkly cutest and sweet puppy breath, and you have Praline. Praline is just a baby, barely 8 weeks old. She loves, loves, loves to be held. With her wrinkly folds, we think Praline may be a hound mix with even some boxer thrown in. Praline is still a baby, but she is doing well with housetraining and keeps her kennel dry through the night. She loves the other pups in her foster home, especially her foster pup sis, Lolly, who is favorite playmate. But once she is tuckered out, Praline is ready to find a warm lap to curl up in. They don't come much sweeter than Praline.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Praline, a Baton Rouge Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
